On yet another cold and windy night in May…Those Guys were outmatched yet again, in the first inning. Boetto and Boetto struck first dropping 24 runs on Those Guys almost before recording one out. Hitting their home-run limit in the first inning Boetto and Boetto took their foot off the gas and allowed Mike Hafner to get the scoring started with a solo home-run. David Januszewski went 2-2 with a double and a home-run. Audomaro Farias, Bryan Kouba and substitute player Mike “Topper” Topps all added a hit as well. The real action began when the game ended in the 3rd inning when Those Guys cut loose and took some BP on the field. Mike Hoyt looked like a man possessed in the outfield tracking down balls while holding tightly to his beer. He even put one over the fence for an emotional win. Bill Skowronski thinks that next year we play softball while holding a beer the entire time, hey anything at this point would be more fun! We have Memorial Day off so enjoy it with your families!
